Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Helpers Cluster. These Terms & Conditions explain how our peer-to-peer mutual-help platform works, what you can expect from it, and what is expected of every member. Please read them carefully before you create an account or make a pledge.

1. What Helpers Cluster is

Helpers Cluster is a community platform that matches members who want to provide help with members who are due to receive help. Members pay each other directly by bank transfer or mobile money. Helpers Cluster does not hold, invest or manage members' money, is not a bank, and is not an investment or savings product.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when you register, including correct payout details, and keep them up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login details private and for all activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Pledges and packages

• Each package shows its pledge amount, the return percentage, the amount you are matched to receive, and its maturity period before you pledge.
• When you pledge to Provide Help, you commit to paying the members you are matched with, in full, within the deadline shown for each match.
• Once your pledge is fully paid and confirmed and the maturity period has passed, you are queued to Get Help. Other members are then matched to pay you.

4. Payments, proof and confirmation

• You must pay the matched member directly, using the payout details shown for that match, and upload genuine proof of payment.
• A payment only counts once the receiving member confirms it on the platform.
• When you receive a payment, you must check your account and confirm it promptly. You must not confirm a payment you have not received, and you must not refuse to confirm one you have.

5. Deadlines, disputes and blocking

• If you do not pay within a match's deadline, your account may be blocked.
• A receiver may decline or report a proof of payment that is fake, altered or unclear. Admins review disputed payments and may decline the payment, block the account involved, or take other reasonable action.
• Submitting fake proofs, using false payout details, or otherwise acting dishonestly towards other members can lead to your account being blocked permanently.

6. No guarantee of returns

Returns are paid by other members, not by Helpers Cluster. Receiving help depends on other members continuing to join and pay, so there is no guarantee that you will be matched to receive within any particular time, or that you will receive your pledge or any return in full. Only pledge what you can afford to lose.

7. Referral bonuses

Members may earn a referral bonus when people they invite sign up and take part. Current rates and conditions are shown in your dashboard and may change. Bonuses obtained through fake or duplicate accounts may be cancelled.

8. Privacy

To make matches work, your name and payout details are shown to the members matched to pay you, and theirs are shown to you. We use your information to run your account and the platform, and we take reasonable measures to protect it.

9. Limitation of liability

Because members pay each other directly, Helpers Cluster is not responsible for payments made between members, for mistakes in payout details entered by members, or for a member's failure to pay. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
